Sharing Your Bookmarks

Have you ever wanted to take your bookmarks with you so you could share them with a friend or colleague. Here is
how you save and view your bookmarks in both Netscape and Internet Explorer
Saving Your Bookmarks:
- Netscape : To save you bookmarks in Netscape do the following
- -Click on Edit Bookmarks.
- -Click on File and then Save As
- -Choose a different name for the file if you wish.
- -Select the location where you want to save the file, and click Save. (Hint This is just like you save
a file in WordPerfect.
- Internet Explorer :To save your bookmarks (Favorites) in Internet Explorer do the following:
- -Click on File and then on Import and Export.
- -Click on Next
- -Select Export Favorites
- -Click Next twice
- -Click in the circle in front "Export to a File or Address."
- -Choose a different name for the file if you wish.
- -Select the location where you want to save the file, and click Save. (Hint This is just like you save
a file in WordPerfect.
- -Click on Next
- -Click on Finish
- -Click on OK
Viewing your Bookmarks:
To view your book marks in both Netscape and Internet Explorer do the following:
- Netscape: To view your bookmarks in Netscape do the following:
- -Click on File and than Open Page
- -Click on Choose File
- -Select the location and choose the file name you saved your bookmarks under. (Hint This just like
you would retrieve a document in WordPerfect.)
- -Click on Open. It will open as a web page you can click on your links just like any other web
page.
- Internet Explorer: To view your bookmarks in Netscape do the following:
- -Click on File and than Open Page
- -Click on Browse
- -Select the location and choose the file name you saved your bookmarks under. (Hint This just like
you would retrieve a document in WordPerfect.)
- -Click on Open. It will open as a web page you can click on your links just like any other web
page.
